A Huge Spike, right over there

I don't have a huge readership, not like Mike or Chris, and probably not even as large as my constant commenter and person who keeps convincing me to buy more comics, Sally. But, when ya have a niche blog about Jonah Hex, don't work in a comics shop, AND ya have a life, what can ya do? You end up getting around 30 page loads a day with about 3 regular readers. Of course, even a blind squirrel finds a nut, and somebody gives me some linky love and I get a LOT of crossover hits.

Then, THIS happens
Somebody, searching for Jonah Hex stumbles upon my writings and reads everything that I have written in the past two years!! 249 page loads in one day. Brings a tear to my eye.

Anyway, that's enough for now. You kids run along and read something fun & hip, I'll just stay here obsessing about the best Western character that has ever been penned. I'll be here when ya get back.

Don't worry about me.

I'll be fine.

You have fun, run along. Matlock is on and I haven't seen this one.

  1. I found the link to your site on wikipedia and I've been checking up on you weekly ever since. So, you have like 4 regular readers now. Keep up the great work!

  2. Awww...that's so nice. Isn't it fun when people comment? I blush to admit that I also check mine, and a tear rolls down my porcelain cheek when nobody loves me.

There is nothing quite like the thrill of going on the computer and looking up sites and finding the MOTHERLODE of good stuff about Jonah Hex.

I have to admit that I've never heard of Jonah Hex because I was bought and sold by Marvel as a kid. Then that Thomas Jane thing came up and one wikipedia search later I got here. After spending two work days slacking off and reading everything I can I find on this page, I can say that I think I'm in love with this character. I can't wait for more.

  6. Well, a hearty welcome to you. I may be going back through a few of my past posts that are short of pictures (but I'll give notice when I do that).

Hope you enjoy it here. I figure I have another two years of plowing through Jonah Hex, then I can start on the new series and I have Scalphunter to cover and who knows what else.

Heck, in your honor, I'll see if I can uncover my 1 issue of Caleb Hammer (a Marvel western)
