What was the last new character that DC created and eventually wound up in its own book?
I'm not counting a 'relaunch' where the character has changed gender/ethnic group or is in a 'group' book.
The last original characters that I can remember are Firestorm or Vigilante. Any other suggestions?

Breach probably doesn't, since they made him an alternate universe Captain Atom.
DC seems to be promoting this new Forerunner character from Countdown pretty heavily. Doesn't do much for me, however.
